This gaming timer is a special project used in the Student Union at ISU. The location has gaming stations set up in the building that are free to use for students. However, they needed a system to keep one person from hogging the system and a way to automatically track the time. The game timer allows control of both gaming stations. When a user checks out the controller (using the lending software), a worker starts the timer on the appropirate gaming station which turns the system on. When the timer hits zero, the system is shutdown and the user returns the controller.
